四氫噻吩(Tetrahydnothiopen簡稱T)是一種重要的含硫飽和雜環(huán)化合物,分子式為C4H8S,相對分子質(zhì)量88.171,為無色或微黃色透明液體。 四氫噻吩主要用作城市煤氣、天然氣等氣體燃料的賦臭劑即警告劑。也可用作醫(yī)藥、 農(nóng)藥和光化學(xué)品生產(chǎn)的原料。目前,按國際標準要求,城市煤氣、天然氣等氣體的賦臭劑必須使用四氫噻吩,取締了原來使用的乙硫醇等賦臭劑。
